Welcome to Women Build
Women Build works to recruit, empower, and train women to build simple, decent, and affordable homes. The Women Build worksites provide a unique opportunity to learn construction skills and to build leadership and teamwork skills. The Greater Charlottesville Women Build program was founded in the fall of 2001. Women Build is now raising funds to build its seventh house. You can help! Please consider donating. See link below.

Thanks to everyone for making this such a successful event.
Thanks to our lumber donors: Lowe's, Smith and Robertson, Bob Powell, Joe Orrock and Ray Varona.
Thanks to the Women Build volunteers and the women from the National Association of Women in Construction for building all of our toolboxes.
A special thanks to Dale Morse for making wrought iron handles for our gift boxes. Also, thanks to Happy Cook and Pasta Valente for filling gift boxes.
