Things to know before you sign up : |

Directions, Parking & Transportation: You will receive a link for googlemaps when you sign-up online. Space is limited on most of our jobsites, so please plan to carpool or use alternative modes of transportation. Bus route links are also listed for current projects. |
 |
Age Restrictions: All construction volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Anyone under 18 is limited in their activities by Habitat International and our insurance company. A minor liability waiver is required before you can begin work. Restrictions include working height and power tool restrictions. |
 |
Work Hours: The Return of Regular Hours! As of September 1st we are back to our regular hours of 8:45 am to 3:30 pm with lunch from 12 to 12:30.
Our construction staff operates on a Tuesday - Saturday workweek, but are only on the site when volunteers are scheduled. Construction volunteers are asked to work the entire day (until 3:30 pm) unless alternate plans are made with the volunteer coordinator. |

Community Service: We are happy to help you fulfill your community service requirements, and even have a form to help track your hours! Please select the community service box if you sign-up online and bring a copy of the community service form with you to the jobsite. These steps and an e-mail to our volunteer coordinator will help us ensure you get credit for your time. |

Saturday Volunteer Coordinator: Help us welcome our volunteers, sign them in, provide name tags and other safety gear and get everyone ready to build! No more than a 2 hour commitment beginning at 8:30 a.m. is required. No experience necessary.
